Welcome to eSponsor for foundations

This website is operated by esponsor.com. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to eSponsor. eSponsor offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available to you.

By using eSponsor you accept these terms and conditions, including the privacy policy and the content guide.

Your account

When creating your account, you must provide accurate information about your foundation or the person in charge. If this changes, you must update it. You must be at least 14 years old to use eSponsor and 18 to receive money. If you're a minor and want to donate/receive, you'll need authorization from your guardian.

Paid plans and features

Foundations or nonprofit organizations: Independently of plans for other categories, if you're a foundation or nonprofit organization, you'll have free access to eSponsor's base features, which include: custom site, links, campaigns, subscriptions, store, wish list, and domestic and international payments. If you create a foundation account and we cannot verify that you actually are one, we will deactivate it and send you a notice afterward.

Conduct

You are responsible for all activity on your account. If you violate any of our policies, we have the right to completely terminate your account. Don't do anything illegal or abusive toward others, or that abuses our site in any way. We may review activity you perform in campaigns, commissions, or with other eSponsor services to ensure proper use of the page.

Everything about being a foundation

Foundation

You become a foundation when you register to generate nonprofit income by selecting that you're a foundation. When you join, you become part of our community, can use the tools we provide, show your goals, offer services, and of course receive money from your contributors.

We offer your audience different ways to interact with you and be active agents in fulfilling your foundation's mission—you decide which tools you'll use to achieve it.

As a foundation, you have the right to contact the team behind eSponsor to share feedback, report errors you find, and more. You can do so on our social networks or by sending an email to info@esponsor.com

Payments

As a foundation, you can receive payments locally or internationally. However, if we detect that your account violates our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to hold or block the money you receive until we verify everything is in order. To protect sponsors who donate money, we may also completely block your account or payment method if we detect fraudulent use of the page.

In addition to the above, for security reasons, if we detect suspicious activity or receive notice from our payment processor, we may reject your withdrawal request. This will initiate an investigation that can take up to 180 days. During this time, and to rule out the conduct mentioned above, we'll ask you for information to verify the origin of the money you received on eSponsor. This information may consist of (without this list being exhaustive or exclusive):

• Identification documents
• Photo of your face alongside your identification document
• Foundation documentation
• Videos, images, or links demonstrating your activities and how you received the money

If we don't receive a response from you within 30 days, we'll proceed to close your account.

Withdrawals

eSponsor lets you withdraw your money by transferring it to your bank account. To do so, you must meet the minimum amount indicated on the page depending on your country. Once the minimum is met, you can request your transfer, which will start the withdrawal process.

All your transactions will initially appear as "on the way"—this means they'll arrive in your account within a maximum of 7 calendar days. Once the process is complete, the withdrawal will be marked as completed and the money will be fully transferred from your wallet to your bank account. The withdrawal may be canceled at the creator's request before being accepted, or for the security reasons indicated in the "Payments" section.

Commission

On eSponsor, the commission for foundations is 5% of each payment. There's also a commission associated with payment processing whose amount varies depending on the payment method chosen by the sponsor and the country where the payment is made, ranging from 1.0% to 4%.

Everything about a sponsor

A sponsor can donate, subscribe, or purchase from any foundation they want and in the amount they deem appropriate. In return, they may receive benefits.

Sponsor is a status a user has. Anyone who has donated, purchased, subscribed to, or followed a foundation is considered a Sponsor.

The sponsor is responsible for ensuring their transaction is carried out correctly. If they make a mistake, we won't be held responsible, unless it's an error on our site or exceptional cases. What should a sponsor do?

In addition to donating, subscribing, and purchasing, we're constantly reviewing reports and issues that are reported. If you see any content that doesn't comply with our guidelines, you must report it immediately so we can take action. If sponsors intentionally contribute fraudulent content or content that doesn't follow our guidelines, we have the right to close a sponsor's or foundation's account.

About refunds

eSponsor is an e-commerce platform between foundations and sponsors. Through the platform, third-party products and services unrelated to eSponsor are displayed. Those parties are solely and exclusively responsible for fulfilling the legal and tax obligations for which the sponsor pays them as consideration for the contracted service.

It's each sponsor's responsibility to verify what they buy, donate, or subscribe to. If a foundation fails to deliver a benefit, the sponsor must contact them directly to resolve the problem, without prejudice to notifying the eSponsor Team so they can review the account and, if there are grounds showing a breach of the contracted service, restrict it or withhold payments. eSponsor won't be responsible if foundations fail to comply and won't perform any kind of refunds.

Delete account

If as a foundation or sponsor you wish to delete your account, you must send an email to info@esponsor.com. Optionally, if you have a reason you can explain, we'll appreciate it as valuable feedback.

Your content

The content you create and upload to eSponsor is entirely yours and eSponsor doesn't claim any copyright or ownership. However, by uploading it you accept that it may be used by our communications team on our social networks and blog, except for posts marked as +18 or exclusive to a specific audience.

You may not publish creations that infringe the intellectual property or property rights of others. Sponsors may not use creations published by Foundations in any way not authorized by them.

We have the right to review and remove any content you publish on our platform if, in our opinion, it's necessary to protect our service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless esponsor.com and our parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising from your breach of the Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nevertheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms of Service. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Third-party links

Certain content, products, and services available through our Service may include materials from third parties.

Third-party links on this site may redirect to third-party websites not affiliated with us. We're not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and don't warrant or have any obligation or liability for any third-party materials or websites, or for any third-party materials, products, or services.

We're not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with third-party websites. Please review third-party policies and practices carefully and make sure you understand them before engaging in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third party.

If you find a profile that leads to malicious third-party sites, please notify us at info@esponsor.com so we can review whether it violates our rules.

Optional tools

We may provide you with access to third-party tools that we don't monitor and over which we have no control or input.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability arising from or related to your use of tools provided by third parties.

Any use of optional tools offered through the site is at your own risk and discretion, and you must ensure you're familiar with and approve the terms under which such tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).

We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including the launch of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services will also be subject to these Terms of Service.

We're not perfect, but we do our best

At eSponsor there's a dedicated team that works every day to deliver a functional page that meets all your needs, but sometimes there are errors and we're constantly working to fix them. If you find a bug, glitch, error, or anything related to malfunction, please report it to info@esponsor.com.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website.
