Complete Website guide: build your own website on eSponsor

Updated on

With the eSponsor Website, you can build your own website, with multiple pages, your brand and everything you sell, without knowing how to code. Your visitors can buy your products, subscribe, donate and book with you right on your site.

This guide takes you from start to finish: from creating your site to publishing it on your own domain. Read it all or jump straight to the part you need.

eSponsor gives you both, and you can use them at the same time:

  • Link in Bio: a single page that's quick to set up, ideal for your social media bio.
  • Website: a full site with multiple pages, a menu, a footer, shop pages, a blog and much more control over the design.

The website is included in every plan, even the Free one.

Create your site

  1. Go to your creator dashboard.
  2. In the menu, tap Website. You can also go straight there with this link.
  3. If you don't have a site yet, the Create website assistant opens.

The assistant asks you a few questions, one at a time:

  1. Site vision: describe in one sentence what you sell, the style you want and what you want to achieve. For example: "A handmade leather goods shop with vintage typography and warm sepia tones". This sentence guides the colors, copy and design.
  2. Template: choose the design you want to start from. You'll first see the templates recommended for your account type. Tap Show all templates to see the rest. Use Preview to see each full template before choosing.
  3. Color palette: pick a color combination, or select From your prompt to let the AI choose colors based on what you wrote.
  4. Typography: choose the lettering style that fits your brand: Clean, Elegant, Bold, Handwritten, Tech, Classic, Soft and more. You can change it later.
  5. Tone: choose how your site's copy should sound: Elegant & premium, Warm & approachable or Bold & energetic.
  6. Summary: review your answers and tap Create website.

eSponsor builds your site from the template, the AI polishes the design and copy, and the editor opens. Your site is not public yet: only you can see it until you publish it.

Available templates

There are templates for many kinds of creators: fitness and coaching, coaching and mentoring, consultants and entrepreneurs, editorial courses, photography, cosplay and sets, gaming and merch, streaming and community, podcasts and community, DJs and performers, beauty and makeup, subscriptions and coffee, restaurants, agencies, press and media, foundations, animal rescue and premium 18+ content. If you'd rather start from scratch, choose Blank.

Get to know the editor

The editor has three tabs at the top:

  • Preview: your site exactly as visitors will see it. This is where you add and edit blocks.
  • Design: colors, typography, buttons, background and style for the whole site.
  • Settings: logo, title, publishing, domain, analytics, metadata and modules.

Other editor tools:

  • Switch page: jump to any page on your site to edit it.
  • Desktop, tablet and mobile: change the preview size to see how your site looks on each screen.
  • Agent panel: opens or closes the AI assistant (see below).
  • Save changes: saves everything you've done. If you don't save, your changes don't reach your site.
  • Discard unsaved changes: goes back to the last saved version.
  • Visit site: opens your site in a new tab.

Work with blocks

Every page on your site is made of blocks: a headline, a gallery, your shop, FAQs and so on. You stack them one under another to build the page.

Add a block

  1. Hover over a block in the preview and tap the + button that appears above or below it, depending on where you want the new block. If the page is empty, tap Add Block.
  2. Search for the block by name or pick it from the list.
  3. The block appears on the page, ready to edit.

Edit a block

Click any block in the preview to open its editor. Depending on the block, you'll see these tabs:

  • Content: text, images, buttons and the items it shows.
  • Design: how it's laid out (for example, as cards or a carousel), its colors, text alignment and its entrance animation.
  • Settings: options specific to each block.

In Block options you can also:

  • Hide the block without deleting it, and Show it again whenever you want.
  • Delete the block.
  • Edit block name. The name also works as an anchor: if you call a block "Donations", you can link straight to that part with #donations.

Reorder blocks

Tap Reorder blocks and drag them into the order you want.

When a button or link asks for a destination, you can pick one of your pages, a product, a post or any item on your site, or type an external address. If you link to a page on your site, the link keeps working even if you change that page's URL later.

The Instagram, TikTok profile and YouTube channel blocks are available on paid plans.

Images you upload to your blocks are saved in your media library, so you can reuse them elsewhere on your site.

Your site's pages

Your site starts with a Home page plus the pages that came with your template. You can add as many as you need, such as "About me", "Services" or "Contact".

From Switch page:

  • Add new page: enter the Page title and its URL slug (the last part of the address, for example about-me).
  • Edit page: change the title or slug. The homepage slug can't be changed.
  • Delete page: deletes it for good. You can't delete the homepage.

Modules: shop, memberships, blog and more

Modules create automatic pages with your whole catalog. For example, when you turn on the Shop module, your site gets a /shop page with all your published products, and each product gets its own page.

The available modules are:

ModulePage it creates
Shop/shop, with a page for each product and collection
Memberships/memberships, with a page for each plan
Goals/goals, with a page for each campaign
Blog/content, with a page for each post
Wishlist/wishlist, with a page for each wish
Appointments/appointments, with a booking page for each service

Addresses follow your site's language. For example, on a Spanish site the shop lives at /tienda.

To turn them on:

  1. Go to the Settings tab and open Modules.
  2. Turn on the ones you want.
  3. Tap Save changes.

You can change the title and URL of each module page from Switch page. If you turn a module off, its page is hidden, but blocks showing those items on other pages keep working.

Every time you publish a new product, plan or post in your dashboard, it shows up on the module page automatically. You don't have to edit your site.

Click the Navbar in the preview to edit it:

  • Navigation links: add a Page, a Module or an external URL, and reorder them.
  • Navbar CTA button: a highlighted button in the menu, for example "Buy now".
  • Announcement bar: a strip at the top of your site with a message, like "Free shipping on orders over $50". You can add a link, choose its colors and let visitors close it.
  • Show site title next to the logo.
  • Sticky navbar: keeps the menu visible while visitors scroll down the page.
  • Link style: border, background opacity, hover effect and how the current page is highlighted.

When your site sells something, the menu shows the cart and a button for visitors to sign in.

Click the Footer in the preview to edit it:

  • Footer logo: use it if your footer is dark and you need a light version of your logo.
  • Show site title and Show bio.
  • Copyright: write your own text or leave it empty to use an automatic one with the year and title.
  • Footer colors.
  • Social links: choose which social accounts to show.
  • Menu: shows links to your site in the footer.
  • Newsletter: adds the email signup form.
  • Sticky reveal: the footer appears underneath the page when you reach the bottom.

Customize the design

In the Design tab you change the look of the whole site at once:

  • Design preset: a complete style that changes the typography, rhythm, patterns and components. It doesn't change your colors.
  • Colors: pick a palette and adjust each color: background, text, primary (buttons and links), secondary, cards, borders and pattern.
  • Buttons: size, hover effect and colors for each button type (primary, secondary, outline and ghost).
  • Typography: fonts for headings, body text and labels. In Advanced typography you can fine-tune sizes, weight and line height, including on mobile.
  • Page background: solid color, gradient or image, with an optional filter and pattern.
  • Layout: the spacing between sections and the content width.
  • Style: borders, shadows, corner roundness, and the style of cards, buttons, header and menu, plus logo size.
  • Motion: scroll animations, card motion and image zoom.

Each block can also have its own colors from its Design tab.

Edit your site with AI

The editor includes an AI agent that can do the work for you. Open it with the agent panel button and ask for what you need in your own words. For example:

  • "Improve the overall design — colors, contrast, and visual polish"
  • "Rewrite the hero headline and supporting text"
  • "Add an about section with a short bio"
  • "Show my latest products on the page"
  • "Add a call-to-action section"

The agent can change the design, rewrite copy, add or edit blocks, create pages and show your catalog. Blocks it changes are marked AI updated.

Before doing anything important, like publishing your site, deleting or hiding a page, or turning on a module, the agent asks for your confirmation.

Each AI request uses AI credits from your plan. See how many each plan includes in All eSponsor features.

Site settings

In the Settings tab you'll find:

  • General: your Website logo, Website title and the Published switch.
  • Domain: your site's address (covered below).
  • Analytics: your site's stats and tracking tools.
  • Metadata: how your site appears on Google and when shared.
  • Modules: turn shop, memberships, goals, blog, wishlist and appointments on or off.

Track your visits

In Analytics, tap View analytics to see your site's visits and engagement in your eSponsor dashboard.

On paid plans you can also connect Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and the TikTok pixel. Paste each one's ID and save.

How it looks when shared

In Metadata, fill in:

  • Meta title and Meta description: what shows up on Google.
  • Share image: the image shown on social networks and in chats. The recommended size is 1200 × 630.

If you don't pick an image, your logo is used. You'll see a preview of how it will look right below.

Your web address and custom domain

In Settings → Domain you choose how visitors reach your site:

  • Main domain or Subdomain: eSponsor addresses that are ready to use.
  • Custom domain: your own address, for example www.yourbrand.com. Available on paid plans.

To connect your own domain:

  1. Tap Connect custom domain and type your domain.
  2. eSponsor will show you the DNS records to add (CNAME type). Add them where you bought your domain (for example, GoDaddy, Namecheap or Cloudflare).
  3. If your provider doesn't allow a CNAME on the root domain (without www), use an A, ALIAS or ANAME record pointing to the same target.
  4. If your provider asks you to verify that you own the domain, also add the TXT record we show you.
  5. You can turn on Also connect so both the www and non-www versions lead to your site.
  6. Tap Connect domain and wait until the status changes to Connected.

DNS changes can take a while to verify. Once connected, eSponsor turns on the secure connection (HTTPS) automatically. See the full step-by-step, with troubleshooting, in how to connect your own domain.

Publish your site

  1. Go to Settings → General.
  2. Turn on Published.
  3. Tap Save changes.

From then on, your site is visible to everyone. If you unpublish it, only you will be able to see it.

Remember: whenever you make changes, tap Save changes so they reach your site.

What your visitors can do

Once your site is published, visitors can:

  • Buy your products and check out from the cart.
  • Subscribe to your plans and see your exclusive content.
  • Donate to your campaigns and leave you tips.
  • Book sessions from your appointments.
  • Gift you something from your wishlist.
  • Join your newsletter. Subscribers are added to your audience, and you can email them from your dashboard.

To buy or subscribe, visitors sign in with a code sent to their email, without leaving your site.

Tips for a great site

  • Start with the top. A strong hero with a clear headline and a button tells people in seconds who you are and what you offer.
  • Turn on the modules you use. If you sell, turn on Shop; if you have subscriptions, turn on Memberships. Your catalog stays up to date on its own.
  • Check the mobile view. Most of your visitors will arrive from their phones.
  • Use the announcement bar for promotions and launches.
  • Fill in the metadata so your site looks great when shared.
  • Share your site on your social accounts and add it to your Link in Bio.
