Sales guide: review, filter and export your payments

Updated on

In Sales you see every payment you receive on eSponsor, wherever it comes from: your shop, your subscriptions, your tips, your campaigns and more. All in one list.

How to get there

In your dashboard, go to Monetization → Sales.

At the top you'll see two tabs:

  • My sales: the list of your payments.
  • Settings: your payment settings.

The sales list

Each row is a payment you received. The most recent sales come first, 15 per page.

On a computer you'll see a table with these columns:

  • #ID: the sale number.
  • Amount paid: what the person paid.
  • Commission: what eSponsor charges for that sale.
  • Net amount: what you get, after the commission.
  • Buyer information: the name and email of the person who paid you.
  • Payment date: the day the payment was made.
  • Settlement: the day the money from that sale was settled. If it says Pending, the money is still on its way to your Wallet.
  • Module: where the sale comes from, with a colored label.
  • Details: the eye icon opens the sale details.

On a phone, each sale shows up as a card with the buyer, the Net amount, the payment date and the settlement. Tap View details to see the rest.

Modules

The Module label tells you what the person bought or supported:

  • Tips: one-off contributions from your audience.
  • Campaigns: donations to your campaigns.
  • Shop: products and services from your shop.
  • Subscriptions: payments for your subscription plans.
  • Appointments: bookings for sessions or meetings.
  • Content on demand: requests for custom content.
  • Wishlist: gifts from your wishlist.
  • Livestreams: payments from your livestreams.

Sale details

When you open a sale you see its number, the buyer's name and two labels: the module and the settlement status. The information is organized in tabs:

  • Summary: the Amount paid, the Net amount, the buyer's Country, the Payment date and the Commission.
  • Products: what was bought and how many. It doesn't appear for tips or content on demand.
  • Shipping information: the delivery address, if the sale is for a physical product.
  • Additional fields: the buyer's answers to the fields you asked for at checkout. We explain how to set them up below.

Filter your sales

Above the list you can filter by:

  • From and To: a date range.
  • Module: just one kind of sale, for example Shop or Subscriptions.
  • Product: shows up when you pick a module that has products. For example, a product from your shop, a subscription plan, a campaign or a livestream (livestreams are listed by date). If you deleted a campaign, it still shows up in the list marked Deleted.

The list updates by itself when you change a filter. To see everything again, tap Clear filters.

Export your sales

With the Export button you download your sales as a CSV file, which you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. You have two options:

  • Specific month and payment type: pick a month and, if you want, a payment type (for example, only Subscriptions). Only months in which you had sales show up.
  • Use current filters: exports exactly what you're seeing in the list, with the filters you applied.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • If the export is small, the file downloads right away.
  • If it's large, we prepare it and email you a download link when it's ready.
  • You can only have one export in progress at a time.
  • Each export includes up to 20,000 sales. If you have more, use the filters to export in batches.

Settings

In the Settings tab you choose how you receive payments.

Accept payments

This switch turns payments on your page on or off. If you turn it off, nobody can pay you until you turn it back on.

Blocked emails

Here you write the emails of people who won't be able to pay you, one per line. If someone tries to pay with one of those emails, they'll see the message "It is not possible to pay at this time".

Below the list you see how many emails you've added and how many your plan allows:

PlanBlocked emails
Free5
Verified100
Creator1,000

If you write more emails than your limit, only the first ones are blocked. To block more, you can upgrade your plan.

Checkout fields

Choose what information you want to ask your audience for when they pay. The answers show up in the Additional fields tab of each sale.

There are two kinds of fields:

  • General fields: common details you just turn on with their switch, like name, phone or ID document. The ones marked Mandatory for all checkouts are always requested.
  • Custom fields: create your own questions with the New button. Choose the Field name and its type: Text, Selection (with the options you add) or Identity document. Your audience will have to answer them to pay.

With Assign field you decide which payments each field appears on: specific products or plans, or all of one kind (shop, wishlist, appointments, subscriptions, tips, campaigns, content on demand or livestreams). If you don't assign anything, the field appears on all your checkouts.

Donation certificates

If you're a foundation or NGO in Chile on a foundation plan, here you can turn on donation certificates and upload the signature they'll carry.

What about my money?
