Audience guide: get to know your supporters
Audience is the list of everyone who connects with you on eSponsor: people who follow you, buy from you, donate, leave tips or subscribe. There you see their name, email and phone, and what each of them has done with you.
You can open it at esponsor.com/audience, or from the side menu of your Creator dashboard under Audience.
Who joins your audience
Someone joins your audience when they:
- Follow you, or sign up for eSponsor from your page.
- Subscribe to your newsletter from your website.
- Buy something from your shop.
- Donate to a goal or leave you a tip.
- Subscribe to one of your tiers.
- Send you a Challenge (on-demand content request).
People who buy, donate or subscribe stay in your audience even if they don't follow you.
What each type means
In the Type column you see one or more colored icons. Tap an icon to see what it means.
| Type | Who they are |
|---|---|
| Follower | Follows you on eSponsor. If they unfollow you, they lose this type but stay on your list if they have others. |
| Sponsor | Has paid you at least once, for anything. |
| Buyer | Bought something from your shop. |
| Donator | Donated to one of your goals. |
| Tipper | Left you a tip. |
| Subscriber | Subscribed to one of your tiers. |
| Challenge | Requested on-demand content from you. |
The same person can have several types. For example, someone who follows you and bought something shows up as Follower, Sponsor and Buyer.
Search and filter
- Search: type a name or an email to find someone.
- Filter: pick a Type to see only that group, for example only your Buyers or your Subscribers.
The newest people show up first.
Contact someone
- Tap someone's email or phone to copy it.
- Tap the envelope icon at the end of the row to write them an email from your email app.
If you want to write to your whole audience or a group at once, use Messaging to send email campaigns. See how many emails you can send per month in all eSponsor features by plan.
Download your audience
Tap Export to download your list as a CSV file, which you can open in Excel or Google Sheets. It includes each person's name, email, phone and type.
If you have a Type filter on, the file only includes that group.
Important: take care of your audience's data. Only use it to reach the people who support you, and don't share it with anyone else.
