The complete sponsor guide: everything you can do on eSponsor
A sponsor is someone who follows and supports their favorite creators on eSponsor. This guide covers everything you can do: from finding creators and seeing their exclusive content to reviewing your payments, cancelling a subscription, or deleting your account.
Create your account and log in
To follow, comment, or pay, you need an eSponsor account. You can create one right when you support a creator.
You have several ways to log in:
- Email and verification code: enter your email and we send you a code to log in, no password needed.
- Email and password: if you created a password, you can use it.
- Google or Facebook: log in with your account from one of these networks.
💡 Want eSponsor handy on your phone? You can install the app.
Your sponsor menu
When you log in, you'll see a menu with these sections:
- Home: content from your creators and suggestions for you.
- Explore: a search to find creators.
- Notifications: your account alerts.
- My purchases: everything you've paid for (shop orders, subscriptions, challenges, donations, tips) and your saved cards.
At the top, tapping your name opens a menu with My account, Help, Feedback, and Logout.
Find and follow creators
Search for creators
- In the menu, tap Explore.
- Type the creator's name in the search.
- Tap their profile to see everything they offer.
Follow a creator
On the creator's profile, tap Follow. Following is free and lets you:
- See their posts on your Home.
- Get alerts when they post content, open a subscription plan, add products to their shop, or create a campaign.
If you support a creator in any way (a purchase, a tip, a subscription), you start following them automatically. More details in What is the follow button?.
Your Home
Home has two tabs:
- For me: suggested content and creators.
- Following: posts from the creators you follow.
Every way to see content
Posts
Creators post text, photos, videos, audio, and links. Each post can be:
- Public: anyone can see it.
- For sponsors: people who have already supported the creator can see it. Some require you to have supported with a minimum amount, adding up your tips and donations to that creator.
- For subscribers: only people subscribed to certain plans can see it.
If a post is locked, you'll see what you need to unlock it: join a plan or support with an amount.
On posts you can also:
- Like them (you need to be logged in).
- Comment, if the creator has comments turned on. You can edit or delete your own comments.
Exclusive subscription content
When you subscribe to a plan, you unlock that plan's content. You'll find it on the plan page, on the creator's profile. To get there quickly:
- Go to My purchases > Subscriptions.
- Tap Go to plan on the subscription you want.
Not subscribed yet? See How do I subscribe to a creator?
Private Telegram groups
Some plans include access to a private Telegram group. After paying, connect your Telegram account and join the group. We explain it step by step in How do I join a private Telegram group?
If you lose the link, you'll find it in your subscription details (My purchases > Subscriptions > Details).
Livestreams
Creators can go live with a chat. Depending on how the creator sets it up, a stream can be:
- Public: anyone can watch.
- For registered users: you need to be logged in.
- Paid: you pay once to get in. You can only pay while the stream is live.
During the stream you can write in the chat, react, and send tips. Your tip is announced in the chat.
Digital products from the shop
If you buy a file, photo, video, or audio in a creator's shop, you can view and download it from your order details:
- Go to My purchases > Shop.
- Open the order.
- View the content on screen or tap download.
Some products are delivered by the creator by email.
Every way to support
| Type of support | What it is |
|---|---|
| Subscription | A payment that renews every month. It gives you access to the plan's benefits and content. |
| Shop | Digital products, services, tickets, or physical products. You can buy several at once with the cart. |
| Appointments | You book time with the creator: pick a date and time and pay. It may include a Google Meet link. |
| Wishlist | You gift the creator something they want. |
| Tip | A one-time contribution with an optional message. It may show on screen during a livestream. |
| Campaign | You donate toward a creator's goal. Some campaigns have rewards. |
| Challenges | You ask the creator for something special (a shout-out, a video, a custom piece). |
How challenges work
- Describe what you want and complete the payment.
- You're not charged yet. The creator gets your request and decides whether to accept it.
- If they accept, you're charged and the creator has a deadline to deliver. If they reject it, you're not charged.
- When they deliver, you'll see it in My purchases > Challenges.
When you pay
Buy several products with the cart
In a creator's shop you can add several products to the cart and pay for them together. Each creator has their own cart: if you buy from two creators, you make two payments.
Use a discount code
If the creator gave you a code, enter it in Enter discount code before paying. Some discounts apply automatically, with no code.
On subscriptions, a discount may last only a few months. In that case you'll see a notice telling you from what date you start paying the full price.
Check the total
Before confirming, you'll see the total to pay. Besides the price, it may include a payment processing fee and taxes, depending on your country.
Save your card
When you pay, you can save your card so you don't have to enter it again. Subscriptions use it to charge each renewal. Your cards are in My purchases > Payment methods.
💡 If you're also a creator on eSponsor, you can pay with your eSponsor wallet balance.
Review your support and purchases
Everything you pay for is saved in My purchases:
- Shop: shop, appointment, and wishlist orders.
- Subscriptions: your plans, with their status and amount.
- Challenges: your requests and their deliveries.
- Donations: your contributions to campaigns.
- Tips: the tips you've sent.
- Payment methods: your saved cards.
In each list, tap Details to see all the information about that payment.
Subscription details
In My purchases > Subscriptions > Details you'll find:
- The amount and the renewal date.
- The latest renewals and the payment history.
- The plan's benefits and the creator.
- The payment method you use, with the option to change it.
- Access to the Telegram group, if the plan includes one.
- Download certificate, if the creator issues certificates for your contributions.
Subscription statuses
- Active: up to date and will renew on the date shown.
- Payment pending: we couldn't charge the renewal. See the next section.
- Cancelled: won't renew. You keep access until the end date.
- Expired: it ended and you no longer have access.
If a renewal charge fails
If we can't charge your subscription (for example, the card expired or has no funds), we send you an email with a link to pay. We also retry the charge every day for a while. If it still fails, the subscription expires.
To avoid that, update your card:
- Go to My purchases > Subscriptions and tap Details.
- Under Payment method, tap Change payment method (or Update payment method).
- Pick a saved card or add a new one.
We explain it in more detail in My subscription payment failed: what do I do?
Cancel a subscription
- Go to My purchases > Subscriptions (esponsor.com/sponsor/payments/subscriptions).
- Tap Details on the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Confirm with Yes, I want to cancel.
What happens next:
- Paid plan: you won't be charged again and you keep access until the date we show you when cancelling (in UTC).
- Free plan: you lose access to the exclusive content right away.
You'll get an email confirming the cancellation. You can subscribe again whenever you like.
Manage your cards
In My purchases > Payment methods you'll see the cards you saved when paying.
To remove one, tap the delete button and confirm. If the card is being used for an active subscription, you can't remove it: first change that subscription's payment method or cancel it.
Your notifications
In the menu, tap Notifications to see your account alerts. You can mark them as read one by one or all at once, and in the settings choose which alerts you want to receive.
Your account
Tap your name and then My account. There you can:
- Change your photo: tap Change next to your picture.
- Change your name.
- See your email and country.
- Create or change your password. If you log in with a code or with Google, you can create a password.
- Turn on two-factor authentication: an extra layer of security with an authenticator app. When you turn it on, download your recovery codes and keep them somewhere safe.
- Disconnect Telegram: if you do, you'll leave the creators' Telegram groups you joined through eSponsor.
If you lose your authenticator app
If you turned on two-factor authentication and no longer have access to the app (for example, you changed phones), when logging in tap Use a recovery code and enter one of the codes you downloaded. Each code works only once.
Then go to My account and set up two-factor authentication again on your new phone.
Want to become a creator?
If you'd like your own page and to receive support, tap your name and then Create your page. We'll guide you step by step. More details in How do I create my account?.
Delete your account
⚠️ Deleting your account is permanent. You won't be able to recover it or access your data, purchases, or content again.
Before deleting it, make sure you:
- Have no active or payment-pending subscriptions. Cancel them first (see above).
- Have no challenges with a pending payment.
If you have any of these, eSponsor will let you know and you won't be able to continue until you resolve them. More details in How do I delete my account?
To delete your account:
- Tap your name and then My account.
- Scroll down to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- Read the warning and confirm with Delete account.
